I invited Jason to provide a competitive quote for a package of works at my recently purchased three-bedroom semi-detached property. The scope included removing a central load-bearing wall and installing an RSJ goalpost system with concrete pads to create an open-plan layout, replacing a rear window with French doors, forming a new kitchen window, blocking up a side door and replacing it with a window, and managing building control approvals. Jason attended on the day and time agreed, offered professional commentary on the structural engineer’s designs, and provided a detailed, itemised quotation within a couple of weeks. His team demonstrated a great balance of experience and diligence, worked efficiently throughout, and ensured the site was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. All works outlined in the quotation —and those agreed verbally at quotation but not explicitly written into the quote — were delivered to a high standard. I would happily recommend their services to others. Great work all round.

Hallett Construction did a rear extension on our house and extended our porch. They were quick to start, the team were motivated and efficient and the communication was excellent throughout. Problems were dealt with promptly and professionally and the quality of work is excellent. There has also been good aftercare since work finished on the project. We're very happy with the end result!

We recently used Hallett Construction for a knock-through and an external door opening. Jase managed to squeeze the job in a few weeks ahead of schedule which was really appreciated as it helped keep the project moving. The whole team was extremely fast, efficient and knowledgable, and kept me updated throughout the process (which only took them 2 days!). They left structural anchors visible for building control to inspect, and then popped back to button it all up once it was signed off. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any future building works.

Hallett converted a 3 bed house into a 6 bedroom hmo all with ensuites. I wanted someone to do all work rather then me having to find all different people to work with. The turn around and quality of work was great, any problems I had They sorted very quickly!! They have done a great job all round. Definitely will be using them on projects in the future!!

Jase and his team have recently completed a 6 bed HMO for us and they have been exceptional throughout. Their knowledge and expertise of building HMO's has meant we've had no stress throughout the build. We used Hallet Construction for a complicated knock through and insertion of steel beams. They did a fantastic job, arrived when they said they would and tidied up so well. The work ran to time and I was well informed of the progress. The team were so considerate and friendly. Jason is very approachable, great with communication and flexible to our requirements. We found it very helpful that Jason works with a variety of trades so can organise everything according to the schedule of the building work.
